Melbourne Tractors' network in Australia, which includes Melbourne Tractors in Victoria, Brisvegas Machinery in Queensland and Ballarat Tractors in Ballarat (VIC), have been appointed new dealerships for Ammann's rammers and vibratory plates.
The network has been selling a select range of equipment since late 2016, and will extend into the full range of light compaction equipment including all size rammers and vibratory plates, compactors and walk behind rollers by 2017.
"The Ammann range is known as a market leader, and we are delighted to be partnering with them to provide our customers with the competitive edge they need," says Melbourne Tractors General Manager, Matt Thorne.
"We want to be a one-stop shop for our customers working in the construction and road building industry, and this step brings us much closer to that goal."
The branches will stock all three of Ammann's light compaction rammers ranging from 60kg to 85kg and several models of the vibratory plates, as well as provide parts and product support within Victoria and Queensland.
The rammer and vibratory plates are suitable for a range of applications including trench compaction, back filling, pipework, asphalt and paving, and patch work on roads.
The Ammann range will be available in all Victorian branches including Campbellfield, Dandenong and Ballarat; as well as the Brisbane branch in Richlands.
