CASE Construction Equipment has announced the launch of its D-Series mini-excavator range in the Australian and New Zealand markets, featuring models from one to six tonnes.
The range, first revealed to the European market in May 2022, features true zero tail-swing models with a series of improvements over existing models, the company said.
Initially, there will be four models available in the Australian market – the 1.7-tonne CX17D, the 2.6-tonne CX26D, the 3.4-tonne CX35D and the 5.7-tonne CX58D. The two smaller versions will come with ROPS canopies while the latter two will feature an air-conditioned cabin.
The zero tail-swing feature allows the models to work comfortably and confidently in tight spots and smaller job sites.
CASE’s D-Series mini-excavator range is manufactured at dedicated plants in Italy, following the acquisition of Sampierana by CNH Industrial in 2021.
The excavators feature hydraulic and mechanical quick couplers and customisable features for applications ranging from basic to premium configurations, CASE added.
Boasting up to three auxiliary circuits and advanced controls, including electro-hydraulic and load-sensing systems, the D-Series is able to work with a wide array of attachments.
Designed with operators in mind, the D series also offers a range of control upgrades and comfort features such as automatic air conditioning and customisable controls; with amenities like DAB Radio available as an option.
The D-series mini excavators are now available from local CASE dealers. For more information on the range, visit CASE Construction’s website.
