CASE Construction launches G series wheel loaders

New heavy duty loader range “the most intuitive and easy-to-operate wheel loaders CASE ever produced”

CASE Construction has lifted the cover off its brand new G series wheel loaders spanning seven models with operating weight ranging from 10 tonnes to 28 tonnes.

The range is Stage V Euro engine emissions compliant and features Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) engine technology that not only keeps emissions low but also improves fuel efficiency and eliminates regeneration or lifetime diesel particulate filter (DPF) costs and maintenance, CASE Construction said.

With operating weights of up to 28 tonnes and power outputs of up to 347hp, the range is well suited to work across a wide range of applications including waste and material handling; agriculture; construction; quarrying; snow removal, mass excavation and more, CASE added.

CASE G Series wheel loaders feature a broad range of bucket and linkage options to optimise each machine to its application. Linkage options include Z-bar for best breakout force and general operation; and XT tool carrier configuration for handling stacked and palletised materials.

Efficient power and handling

FPT engines under the bonnets are designed to meet the latest engine emissions standards thanks to SCR technology. SCR allows the engine to breathe cooler and cleaner - ensuring optimal productivity and helping to minimise wear associated with excessive heat and the possibility of thermal events.

With the exception of adding diesel exhaust fluids (DEF) Ad Blue and or Urea, there are no new or intensive maintenance activities required of the system, CASE said.

Each loader comes standard with a four-speed PowerShift transmission, with an optional five-speed transmission with lock-up torque converter available on the 721G, 821G and 921G for roading speeds up to 40km/h.

There is a choice of four operating modes on each model- Eco, Standard, Max and Auto. The different modes matches engine output to application to ensure the machine only uses as much fuel and power as needed for the job.

Cooling technology

All CASE wheel loaders feature innovative cooling technologies to keep operating temperatures down, CASE Construction said.

The 521G through to the 921G include the CASE-exclusive mid-mounted CASE cooling module, which features coolers positioned in a cube design that ensures access to clean and cool ambient air, while also limiting debris buildup. An optional variable-speed reversing fan further minimises the need for manual cleaning.

The 1021G and 1121G feature the CASE cooling cube, which also provides direct access to fresh air for each cooler and features a reversible fan and easy access for cleaning. All G Series wheel loaders feature an electric rear hood lift that allows for easy access to the engine compartment for ground-line serviceability.

“Most intuitive and comfortable cab ever”

CASE Construction said the G Series wheel loaders has the most intuitive, comfortable and easy to operate environment of any CASE wheel loader ever produced.

The new cab is inspired heavily by automotive designs and features a range of eletro-hydraulic controls and interfaces aimed at making operations simpler and more efficient.

This includes a solid-state controller that provides software control over electrical power distribution and basic vehicle functions. A membrane keypad replaces a series of rocker switches for common machine functions, and a new steering console mimics the driver controls such as lights, wipers and turn signals found in most automotive vehicles.

A new 8-inch LCD monitor provides the operator with simple control and insight over most of the loader functions and activities. This includes changing displays for day and night operation; information on operating parameters such as fuel levels, temperatures and pressure readings, trip information; an optional integrated rearview camera, and fingertip selection of operating modes and features such as Auto Idle and Auto Shutdown.

Operators can choose from three seat options which includes a premium heated air-ride seat; with each option allowing adjustability and leg room to suit individual operator needs.

A new, one-piece rounded windshield provides excellent visibility to all sides of the machine, while a rear grid defroster and redesigned external mirrors provide greater visibility towards the rear of the machine. These loaders also feature an all-new HVAC system that achieves the fastest cab cool-down of any loader in the industry, CASE Construction said, in addition to excellent heating, defrosting and defogging capabilities.

Other creature comfort features include a new Bluetooth radio with satellite radio and streaming capabilities.

CASE is backing each G Series unit with a 3-year Advanced CASE SiteWatch telematics subscription and a 3-year or 5000-hour full-machine factory warranty.
