CASE targets loader sweet spot with new 651G+

New mid-size wheel loader expands CASE's range with a focus on automation, comfort and versatility.

CASE Construction Equipment has expanded its wheel loader line-up with the introduction of the new 651G+, marking the brand's entry into the increasingly popular mid-size loader segment.

Positioned between compact and larger-scale wheel loaders, the 651G+ has been designed to tackle a broad range of applications including stockpiling, truck loading, yard duties and general earthmoving.

Power comes from a 6.7-litre FPT Stage V diesel engine producing 128kW (172hp), while CASE says the machine is equally suited to construction, agricultural and rental fleet applications where versatility and ease of operation are highly valued.

The 651G+ is also the latest model to join CASE's updated G+ Series range, which introduces a suite of new automation and machine management technologies aimed at improving productivity and reducing operator fatigue.

Among the key additions is CASE's new Click & Dig functionality, which assists operators during repetitive loading tasks by automating parts of the loading cycle to improve consistency and reduce the amount of manual input required. The system is designed to help operators maintain productivity during long shifts while delivering more consistent bucket loading performance.

An Automatic Dump Function further streamlines loading operations by triggering the bucket dump sequence once the boom reaches a pre-set height. The feature incorporates a shake function and automatic return-to-dig positioning, helping to speed up cycle times and improve consistency across operators with varying experience levels.

CASE has also introduced an Automatic Metering Function, which assists with controlled material placement by activating a bucket shake feature when operating below a horizontal boom angle. The system is expected to be particularly useful in agricultural applications and site preparation work where even material distribution is important.

Inside the cab, the 651G+ features a new ROPS/FOPS Level 2-certified cabin with a focus on operator comfort, visibility and customisation. A seat-mounted console, configurable controls and touchscreen interface allow operators to tailor machine settings and frequently used functions to their preferences.

The touchscreen also integrates payload weighing capabilities and telematics through the MYCASEConstruction platform, enabling operators to track bucket loads and access job data. Optional tyre pressure monitoring is also available through the display.

Visibility enhancements include a one-piece windscreen, wide-angle rear-view camera and LED lighting package, while follow-me-home lighting provides added convenience when working during low-light conditions.

The 651G+ is fitted with CASE's XT parallel loader linkage, making it well suited to pallet fork and material handling applications where load stability is critical.

The new model sits within a broader CASE wheel loader range that now spans from the 521G through to the 1121G, covering machines in the 11-28 tonne class.

CASE says the 651G+ reflects growing demand for machines that combine productivity, smart technology and ease of operation in one versatile package.
