Case Victoria sets up shop in the west

New Truganina dealership complements current premises in Dandenong

Case Victoria has recently expanded its coverage in the state by opening its second dealership in Truganina to support customers in the west of Melbourne.

The new dealership complements the existing premises in Dandenong, which has been servicing all of Melbourne since 2000.

The Dandenong branch, located at 117 Frankston-Dandenong Rd, will now focus on servicing Melbourne’s east.

Case Victoria Dealer Principal, Vince King, said the expansion will not only provide current customers access to parts and service from a more convenient location, but also enable Case Victoria to support a new geographical market – something that hasn’t previously been possible.

“We’ve always had a lot of demand in the western region but were limited by our East Dandenong location,” he said.

“There’s a clear geographical divide between east and west, and it has been logistically difficult to service both from one location.

“With all of the infrastructure projects in the growth corridors of North and West Melbourne, Truganina serves as a perfect base.

“We’re now confident we can support development in both areas.”

Case Victoria's new facility sits at 455 Boundary Road, Truganina

The new facility sits at 455 Boundary Road, Truganina, and officially opened its doors in May earlier this year.

The 11,000 square metre lot includes comprehensive construction sales, service and parts departments along with equipment rentals. It also houses a national parts distribution centre for Case Construction parts for the Australian dealer network.

Case Victoria was acquired by the McIntosh Group, an Australian machinery dealership group, in early May 2021, as part of a transaction that saw the Group take on national distribution for Case Construction equipment.

“Opening a branch in the west has been promised for a few years, so customer feedback has been very positive now that it has been made possible,” King said.

The expansion also meant increased access to the mobile service team and direct factory access to genuine parts, King added.

“Sharing a premise with Case CE and their national parts distribution is a big win. There are natural efficiencies that come with a relationship like ours, and customers are already reaping the benefits.

“If we can continue to offer a high level of service and parts support in well-presented facilities, we can allow our team to provide the best-in-class sales advice and rental hire that our customers have come to expect.”
