Heavy equipment dealership, CEA, has announced a major expansion into Central Queensland, officially taking over former Terrequipe locations in Rockhampton and Mackay.
The company, which distributes brands such as JCB, Dynapac and Ditch Witch, said the move is part of the company’s long-term strategy to grow its presence and better serve customers in agriculture, construction, mining, and earthmoving.
The branches, now trading under the CEA name, became operational on June 24, and will be supported by CEA’s existing Brisbane-based operations. Existing staff at both locations have transitioned to CEA, helping preserve local knowledge and customer relationships.

"The expansion into Rockhampton and Mackay is an exciting move for CEA," said CEA’s Executive General Manager Northern Region, Wes Henshall. "It's a testament to our focus on growing the business and our dedication to working with customers across industry segments we know well and are highly proficient in supporting.”
CEA CEO Hylton Taylor, said the decision reflects the company’s commitment to being closer to customers in key regions.
“By integrating these additional branches into the business, we are not only expanding our footprint; we are reinforcing our position to deliver superior service, comprehensive after-sales support, and to be a reliable partner for customers within the agriculture, construction, mining, and earthmoving industries,” he said.
“We are confident that this move will create new opportunities and further solidify our position as an industry leader.”
CEA expects a smooth integration over the coming months, with minimal disruption to customers.
