Dayco receives supplier award from Caterpillar

Powertrain systems expert recognised for manufacturing excellence at China facility

Dayco’s facility in Suzhou, China, has been awarded a quality excellence accolade by Caterpillar for the second year in a row.

On June 18, 2020, Caterpillar presented Dayco (Suzhou) Co., Ltd, with its Platinum Level, Supplier Quality Excellence Process Certificate which Dayco said is a testament to the company’s high production standards and adherence to process protocols.

“As a global manufacturer supplying premium quality components to vehicle manufacturers in every sector of the industry, all of our facilities must operate to the highest standards,” said Dayco’s President of Global Powertrain Operations, Michael Weiss.

“The fact that our China plant, in common with our plants in Chieti, Italy and San Luis Potosi, Mexico, has again been recognised by another one of our valued customers, is not just a great honour, it is also a huge reward for the dedication of our employees.
