Diesel Dirt and Turf 2020 postponed

Australia's premier construction machinery trade show rescheduled due to COVID-19

The 2020 Diesel Dirt &Turf Expo (DDT), scheduled for May 15 to 17 at Panthers Penrith has been postponed following the Federal Government’s recent ban on mass outdoor gatherings of over 500 people in a bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo joins numerous other major trade events which have been put on-hold until the COVID-19 virus situation is under control.

Organisers of DDT are currently working through potential dates to stage the expo later this year and will make an announcement in due course.

The expo attracted over 60,000 people in 2019 and understandably, large crowd gatherings in confined spaces pose a high risk of contagion.

“Our first priority is the safety of everyone including the general public, attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, our personnel and members of the community,” DDT organisers said.

“Additionally, we are working with Penrith Panthers and all the other suppliers to ensure a full carry over, I am sure all our event suppliers of goods and services will help out with rearranging new dates and rescheduling of any future advertising.

“Further information regarding the next course of action for our exhibitors, speakers and sponsors will be communicated as soon as possible and we thank you in advance for your patience as we deal with what is an unprecedented situation.”
