The 2024 National Diesel Dirt and Turf show is back again for another year, returning with key attractions including the Takeuchi excavator challenge and Pickles Live Auctions.
The construction trade expo will be held over three days over the weekend from Friday April 12 to Sunday April 14 and promises to be another jam packed event for those working in the trade, business owners looking to update their fleet or simply lovers of heavy equipment.
Komatsu returns as the gold sponsor of the show, while other industry leading names such as Pickles, XCMG and constructionsales.com.au are associate sponsors of the event.

“Exhibitors really appreciate the face-to-face engagement with customers and the opportunity presented by the Expo to fully explain the latest advances in machinery, attachments and all the other productivity tools on display,” said Expo manager, Marti Zivkovich.
“Every year, we see so many successful exhibitors who are ready to re-book their regular sites, often requesting larger spaces in response to the positive business and leads generated as a result of Expo participation. For many, Diesel Dirt & Turf has become their most important sales opportunity and they don’t want to miss out.”
A major crowd pleaser every year is the Pickles auction which has become a major attraction that brings hundreds of people to the Expo, organisers said. Many people attend the auction every year and see it as an opportunity to grab an amazing bargain across all types of equipment.
“Whether you are an exhibitor or a visitor and you have any business in excavation and earthworks, site preparation or infrastructure installation, public works maintenance, roads, turf care, specialised vehicles, public space management, earthworks or agricultural tools, attachments and ground engaging tools, finance or associated services, this is the Expo that you must attend.” Zivkovich said.

Also returning is the excavator challenge which will be held daily across the three days where operators stand a chance to take home $1000 if they are named The Operators Challenge Champion for the day.
The show also often acts as a platform for manufacturers to launch their new products. This year, Caterpillar will be launching its brand-new series of compact track loaders at the show, while Komatsu will be showcasing its electric machinery range to visitors. CJD Equipment, distributor of Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE), will also be out in full force with its full range of equipment which includes its electromobility solutions.
