Dingo rebrands as Wacker Neuson

Part of multi-year strategy to expand both companies’ footprint in Australia.

Wacker Neuson Australia has announced its exclusive distributorship of the Dingo brand of mini loaders, attachments and parts for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands effective March 1, 2020.

The announcement comes after both companies entered into a multi-year deal that will see the Dingo mini diggers manufactured under the Wacker Neuson brand and distributed via Wacker Neuson’s comprehensive network across the country and region.

“This alliance brings a range of high quality, highly regarded market proven machines that logically compliment and expand our range of ground preparation and excavation equipment to the ANZ markets,”said Wacker Neuson ANZ Regional President, Cameron Mole.

The mini loaders will continue to be manufactured at Dingo’s existing facility in Dalby, Australia.

“This is a really exciting time for Dingo Australia,” said Dingo Mini Diggers/Loaders Managing Director, Gary Briggs.

“This alliance represents the next evolution for us as a company. Our manufacturing expertise and history combined with Wacker Neuson’s national presence and support network will take both businesses to the next level,” he said.

“In working together, we have been able to make some exciting additions to the existing range, which will bring a wider and more keenly-priced mini-digger/loader machine range to the market, with the renowned Dingo reliability and strength, underpinned by Wacker Neuson’s proven sales and technical support network.

“Supply of all Dingo attachments and parts will now be through the Wacker Neuson Australian and NZ network, supported by our National Parts Warehouse in Dalby.”

Dingo Australia CEO, Rohan May, said the partnership will provide the company with an exponentially wider geographic reach than can be attained on its own.

“Combining the world’s best mini digger/loader with Wacker Neuson’s national dealer presence and proven sales, marketing and technical customer support expertise was a ‘win win’,” he said.

“It allows each of us to focus on what we excel at and lead the mini digger/loader market in Australia.

“We’ve already begun to hire new staff and are ramping up production capacity in light of the new agreement with Wacker Neuson Australia.”

“For almost 30 years, Dingo Mini Diggers has manufactured the world’s leading mini-digger/loader and attachments, here in Dalby,” Briggs said.

“This new alliance means we will keep doing so for many more generations.”
