JCB adds to skid-steer range

Two new models designed to operate in tougher environments and tighter spaces

JCB Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) has expanded its skid-steer loader range to include two new models – the 135HD and 155HD.

JCB says the new skid steers' compact structures make them ideal for a wide range of applications, including working in small farming operations and landscaping jobs.

According to JCB CEA National Compact Product Manager, Phil Withell, the machines not only come with features that are standard across the JCB skid-steer line-up but also offer increased versatility, safety and visibility.

"JCB’s side cab entry and our exclusive low-slung Powerboom design means that there's excellent visibility to both the left and right side of the machine," he says.

"There's a 270-degree field of vision on the 135HD and 155HD compared with just 165 degrees on other brands on the market."

Both models feature an ergonomic cab, which JCB claims is 46 per cent larger than some rivals.

The 95-litre fuel tanks come standard with the 135 HD and 155 HD, with advanced fuel filtration systems and matching hydraulics and transmission.

"These combinations ensure maximum uptime between refuelling," Withell says.

Tilting cabs provide easy access to maintenance points for servicing purposes.
