Kobelco Construction Machinery Australia has lifted the cover off its newest addition to its mini excavator series, the SK12SR.
It will be making its official debut at the upcoming Diesel Dirt and Turf expo which will take place in Penrith (NSW) in April.
According to Kobelco, the SK12SR is new in its class and features a pilot-controlled operation rather than front-control levers, hence making the model easier and more comfortable to operate.
Kobelco General Manager of Sales & Service, Doug McQuinn, says the new model is ideal for use in tight spaces.
"The SK12SR is a versatile machine, great for those jobs in closely confined spaces, and the pilot-controlled operation offers exceptional manoeuvrability that gives the operator the confidence and comfort to get the job done well," he says.
“We released this machine to bridge the gap between the Kobelco SK008 and the SK17SR mini excavators.
“You may be carrying out landscaping works, laying cable, or building verges - this is a stable machine with rugged construction and underside protection to keep your downtime down.”
The SK12SR comes with a four year or 4000 hour full warranty.
"It’s the best of both worlds with this new model: power and precision without the bulk of a larger machine, plus a reliable warranty to back it up,” McQuinn says.
The SK12SR will be on display at Kobelco Construction Machinery Australia’s site 84 at the 2018 Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo from April 13 to 15.
