Lightforce unleashes the Beast

Leading automotive lighting specialist Lightforce has released a new-model high performance LED driving light, aimed as much at truck drivers and commercial vehicle operators as 4WD and outdoors adventure enthusiasts.

According to Lightforce, the new hi-tech Beast driving light "fuses military practicality and ruggedness with bold and unique design styling" and boasts a number of driver-friendly features including a warm white colour temperature range of 5400-5700 to reduce glare and eye strain, and consistent and precise beam patterns for confident driving on any road type.

Lightforce says its new Beast model stands apart from other driving lights on the market with its unique three-mode operation.

"With its unique 3-mode operation, users can effortlessly switch between spot,
flood and the powerful Beast mode all from the comfort of their driving seat."

Technically speaking, beam distance and width for the new Beast driving light in Spot mode is 1 LUX @ 1497m and 60m respectively, with Flood mode delivering 160-degree peripheral vision and beam distance/width of 1 LUX @ 778m and 140m. While switching to Beast Mode extends beam distance at 1 LUX out to 1375m, with a width of 140m.

Designed, made and tested in Australia, the new lightweight and slim-line Lightforce Beast driving light comes with a hard-coated, IK16 impact-rated lens for durability and longevity, and can be mounted in multiple positions.

Other built-to-last features include IP69K Ingress Protection and STD-810H 514.4 vibration and shock-tested, and it's backed by a five-year warranty.

Pricing starts at $599 RRP for the Beast single pack, and $1199 RRP for the Beast Twin pack, with a number of accessories also available on the Lightforce Australia website.
