LiuGong expands North Queensland dealer network with MAK Diesel

Townsville and Mount Isa customers gain local access to LiuGong machinery, parts and aftersales support

LiuGong has expanded its dealer network in North Queensland with the appointment of MAK Diesel as its newest authorised dealer.

The partnership will see MAK Diesel represent the construction equipment manufacturer from its Townsville and Mount Isa operations, providing machinery sales, parts and aftersales support across the region.

The appointment is aimed at strengthening LiuGong’s coverage across North Queensland’s construction, infrastructure, mining and agricultural sectors.

National distributor, Construction Distribution Australia (CDA) general manager, Liam McCormick, said MAK Diesel’s local market knowledge, heavy-equipment capability and existing customer relationships made it a strong fit for the LiuGong network.

“Townsville and Mount Isa are strategically important regions with strong activity across construction, infrastructure, mining and agriculture,” McCormick said.

“The appointment strengthens our local technical capability and gives customers improved access to equipment, parts and aftersales support where they need it most.”

MAK Diesel business development manager, Dan Bebbington, said the partnership would allow the company to offer LiuGong’s expanding equipment portfolio alongside its existing sales, service and product support.

Customers will have access to LiuGong machinery suited to applications including mining, quarrying, civil construction, infrastructure and agriculture.
