Simple, sturdy and affordable are the key selling points for wheel loader brand, Lovol, which hails from China.
The brand, which manufactures a range of earthmoving equipment including wheel loaders and excavators, is distributed by Toowoomba based Equipment Specialists Australia.
A range of its machinery were on display at the Civil Construction Field Days in Queensland earlier this year.
One of its newest additions, the FL962K wheel loader, runs a hydrostatic transmission and features tried and tested components including a Danfoss hydrostatic drive system, Cummins engine, Eaton steering valve and more.
With an operating weight of about 18 tonnes, the loader is capable of lifting 5.5 tonnes of load.
It is capable of a top speed of 40km/h for quick travel across the job site when required.
The Lovol FL962K comes with a four cubic-metre general purpose bucket for loading purposes, but can be swapped out with other attachments such as 4-in-1 buckets or sweepers for different jobs if need be. A quick hitch at the front enables swift and easy change of attachments.
A prominent selling point of the Lovol FL962K, according to Equipment Specialist Australia’s Peter Wilson, is its ease of use and lack of electronics in and around the machine.
“We've actively tried to push out the electronics and run mechanical fuel pumps and direct pilot or hydraulics as much as we can,” he said.
“It's a far more simplified machine, but the work, payload and the day-to-day capacity this machine is capable of allows it to go head-to-head with the bigger brands.”
