New Holland Construction has launched its D-series mini excavators into the local market and will be offering six models from the range at this stage, namely the E17D, E19D, E25D, E35D, E50D and E58D.
New Holland said the new machines are compact and designed to perform in confined spaces and smaller worksites. The models are either zero tail-swing or short radius, allowing operators to utilise the machines in tight worksites confidently.
The smaller models – the E17D and E19D are less than one meter wide.
While compact, the models are outperforming competitors in dump clearance, maximum reach, and a range of other areas, New Holland added.
Due to their compact dimensions, the machines are well suited for tasks such as landscaping, facilities maintenance and agriculture; and for work in plant nurseries, vineyards, estate management, and contracting.
The D-Series is easy to maintain, with easy access to service points via the tiltable cab and canopy.
Customers can utilise the D-series excavators with a range of attachments including earth augers for drilling for posts and fences; rippers to cut through hard-packed earth and prepare it for construction work, as well as hammers for breaking applications.
Users are presented with a choice of mechanical or hydraulic quick couplers to enable quick and easy switching of attachments.
The D-series mini excavators are now available in New Holland construction dealerships around the country.
