Hidromek has unveiled its HMK 300 LC excavator model via its Australian distributor, Onetrak which took on the brand about six months ago.
The HMK 300 LC features a range of well-known parts such as an Isuzu 6-cylinder engine and Kawasaki hydraulic pumps which mean parts are easily accessible.
According to Onetrak, the HMK 300 LC has been designed with operator comfort in mind, which is paramount in the harsh Australian climate.

“We got the ergonomic controls which are very simple and easy to use, and the air conditioning is fantastic,” said Onetrak National Sales Manager, Andrew Pritchard.
“Even simple things like pull-down blinds on the windows to stop sun glare…just real simple things that others don't think about.”
Other comfort features include adjustable seats and armrests to suit individual needs for a comfortable operation.
In addition to ergonomic controls and comfortable seats, reduced noise to the cabin is also essential for an optimal operating experience, which Onetrak said the HMK 300 LC offers in spades.

“The feedback that we've got about our excavators is they're very quiet, in comparison to the majority of other machines out there,” Pritchard said.
“The economy of the fuel is superb and the smoothness of the hydraulics is really good as well, according to our customers.
“They've also commented about how good the breakout was.”
Hidromek utilises two axial pistons and variable displacement hydraulic pumps by Kawasaki to provide a highly efficient operation that ensures there is always enough hydraulic flow in the boom and arm to carry out the task at hand.
Access to servicing points is placed at ground level and is easy for maintenance personnel to get to.
“Our service technicians all think this is a fantastic layout and very easy to work on,” Pritchard said.

Since acquiring the distributorship of the Hidromek brand in Australia in July 2018, Onetrak is on a mission to spread the word about the benefits of the brand and the quality of the products it manufactures.
“Even though they've been in business making product for 40 years, they've taken on features that other people push for and put them all together in one package,” Pritchard said.
“The other important thing for us is their use of globally renowned and available components.
“For example, the hydraulics are Kawasaki, the engines are Isuzu, Mercedes and Mitsubishi; so from a spare parts and support point of view, you can be supported anywhere.”
