Rugged ZX70 G2 tablet ideal for harsh environments

Getac launches highly durable tablet designed for the construction, utilities and manufacturing sectors

Specialist computer manufacturer, Getac, has launched its next gen ZX70 tablet that the company said has been purpose built for workers in the utilities, manufacturing and transport & logistics (T&L) sectors.

The ZX70 G2 builds on the predecessor ZX70 tablet released in 2017 to bring a new, more durable design, faster computing and better connectivity to mobile field professionals, Getac said.

The ZX70 G2 features a powerful Android OS and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 platform to offer fast computing alongside low power consumption to allow users to work for longer between charges.

It has inbuilt next generation Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to keep workers connected, as well as 8MP/12MP front/rear cameras to accurately document activity and receive remote support.

The ZX70 G2 has several durability features such as vibration resistance to allow prolonged in-vehicle usage especially in the T&L sector. It has the latest MIL-STD-810H certification that ensures it can stand up to the tough demands of field usage.

The ZX70 G2 comes with Getac’s three-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, covering accidental damage as standard.
