Semco Equipment Sales has entered into an agreement with Wirtgen Australia to distribute its entire range of Hamm road construction machinery in the country, available through local government procurement and local buy.
Semco director, Graham Murphy, says the company is pleased to welcome the reputable German brand to its current stable of products.
"Hamm compaction equipment has been recognised by Australian users across commercial and local government markets over many years for its high quality manufacture, reliability and performance," he says.
"We are pleased to be offering the entire Hamm compaction range, starting from the super compact HD8 tandem right up to the largest self-propelled soil machines and including the eight-wheel, multi-tyred GRW280 units.
"Hamm offers all models with various advanced technology options and of course the Germany quality that makes them performance leaders."
In addition to the Hamm range, Semco also distributes compaction equipment by Case, Terex and Dynapac.
Semco owns and operates six sales and service centres in New South Wales, Queensland, ACT and Victoria.
"This solid market presence, coupled with our experience in the compaction environment, positions us very well to capitalise on the market growth of Hamm equipment," Murphy says.
