Semco unveils Messersi electric mini dumper
Electric dumper emits zero emissions and is ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor spaces, according to its local distributorHeavy machinery distributor, Semco, has released the Messersi TC50-e electric powered track mini-dumper that the company said has been designed to operate in any environment.
The Italian-made machine is powered by a LiFePO4 (Lithium-Iron-Phosphate) battery pack that delivers nominal power of 6.9kW. According to Semco, a single full charge of the TC50-e electric mini dumper provides enough power for a five or six hour shift with up to 2.5 hours of continuous travel with the dumper fully loaded.
The unit can also be charged between tasks by plugging into a 240V power source on site or by connection to an inverter on trucks or tow vehicles.
The Messersi TC50-e electric dumper has a 500 kg payload, a skip capacity of 0.304 cubic metres, a maximum speed of 1.5km/h and a maximum gradient of 30 degrees at full load.
The machine’s 180mm patented layout of tracks and tilting rollers give a wide footprint for high stability and excellent driving comfort, Semco said.
With no need to refuel, no engine emissions and minimal environmental noise, the Messersi TC50-e is ideal for residential or commercial internal renovation work, Semco added.
It is also ideal for internal jobs and basement excavations to help remove broken concrete, tiles, masonry, general rubble, glass or landscape excavation spoil.
The operator station consists of a drop-down foot stand and simple controls for a easy operation.
