Yes, Komatsu machines were once purple and blue. At first glance, one might think this is a grey market machine because it wasn’t painted Komatsu’s signature yellow, but rest assured this is a genuine product.
Some time ago, Komatsu tried experimenting with a different colour scheme for its machines but quickly reverted back to yellow because its customers disliked it, according to a report by Forbes.
This 7.5-tonne excavator may be 24 years old but looks to be in superb condition despite having done 4800 hours. It has steel tracks and comes with a GP bucket, mud bucket and hitch.

I’m not exaggerating when I said Komatsu makes every machinery product under the sun, and this includes rough terrain cranes.
This model for sale sports a blue exterior and has been put through the wringer, having done 24775km and 6433 hours of work.
However, the machine is well maintained and has had its annual inspection done recently, and its 10 year major inspection done in 2014.

Now THIS is a dozer! Wheeled dozers like this are not common commodity nowadays, considering crawler dozers are usually more fit for purpose in dozing applications especially when you need plenty of traction to push lots of material, however wheeled dozers do have their place in the industry.
For one, they are more manoeuverable than tracked dozers and can travel much faster, and are more suitable in certain ground conditions than tracked dozers such as on harder, rockier ground.
This magnificent rig has an operating weight of 100 tonnes and a whopping 853hp of power to push any amount of material. Some of its features include a ROPS/FOPS Canopy, cabin with HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), EDIMOS II monitor system, joystick/wheel steering, 45/65R45 radial tyres, 26 cubic-metre semi-U blade with liner package and more.

This Komatsu excavator is not your average digger. Priced at a cool $3 million, it is used in a mining capacity to deal with crushed rocks and the lot and is hence built to be super heavy duty and durable.
In fact, an operator will need to ascend two flights of stairs in order to get to the cab, just to give you an idea of the size of this machine.
We previously featured it in a classifieds spotlight piece as the most expensive excavator you can find for sale on constructionsales.com.au, but there is a very good reason why this machine is priced so high. While it is just over 15 years old and has done over 31,000 hours, it was recently fully rebuilt which means some of the components are brand new and have zero hours on them.
They include a brand new fire suppression system, a new grease system, a new evac system, new undercarriage, new hydraulic hoses and more.
It has also been given a full repaint and repair to restore it to its former glory so it is ready to move into its new home and get working.

If you’re after something a bit new and modern, then this 2019 wheel loader should not disappoint.
This WA470-6 is about two years old and has done 3234 hours. Being a new generation machine, it has a good array of tech in the cab including a reverse camera.
It is powered by a 273hp Komatsu diesel engine and features a power shift transmission and air-conditioned ROPS cabin.
