Following the successful launch of the TL12V2 compact tracked loader last year, Takeuchi has added another vertical lift model to its offering – the TL10V2.
It weighs 4585kg and features significant changes compared to its radial lift model – the TL10, including a lower cross member and step position for greater visibility of the attachment; and flat faced coupler body rotated 90 degrees downwards to reduce lateral pressure on the hydraulic hose connection.
Like its big brother, the TL10V2 features a strong, fully welded box frame with double gussets for extra strength; as well as the largest boom cylinder of any machine in its class, Takeuchi says.
A one-piece, fully welded track loader frame gives the machine a high ground clearance as well as allow the loader arms to be kept in line with the rear pin and bushing to reduce wear and tear on the loader arm.
The TL10V2’s undercarriage design features performance matched rollers and idlers and eliminates the need for the chain case to be located underneath. A sloped undercarriage helps with debris removal, while a double reduction planetary drive delivers high tractive effort. Double flanged track rollers and a quiet ride track design help reduce noise and vibration to improve ride quality for the operator.

A new front and rear mounted LED lighting package allows better work efficiency in low light environments. Components often subject to damage on site such as the visor, steps and grab handles are now removable, allowing the parts to be easily replaced when required.
The cab has also been redesigned for improved operator comfort. Visibility all-round has been increased, while radio, air-conditioning and machine controls are all placed within easy reach by the operator.
A deluxe, high-backed suspension seat allows operators to work comfortably all-day. A standard rear-view camera and a 14.4cm multi-function colour display come standard with the TL10V2 for a safe and efficient operation.
The heavy duty roll-up door on the cab lets operators run the machine either with the door up or down, regardless of the position of the loader arm. Unlike a swing-out door, Takeuchi’s roll-up door enables the operator to exit the machine even if the loader arm becomes stuck in the up position.
Takeuchi adds it has designed the TL10V2 to be easily serviceable and maintained. All major service points such as filter, hydraulic components and steel hydraulic tank are easily accessible under the engine hood. A side-by-side cooling pack gives expansive air flow across both radiator surfaces.
Removing two bolts allows the operator to swing open the door to clean from either side, as well as access the fan and daily servicing points.
The Takeuchi brand of earthmoving machinery is distributed in Australia by Semco Equipment.
