United brings Elevah Down Under

Materials handling solutions provider United Forklift and Access Solutions has been appointed the exclusive distributor of the Elevah ladder systems and access equipment range in Australia.

Made by Faraone Industrie in Italy, the Elevah range features safe working platforms with built-in protection cages that comply with the latest global safety regulations.

One of the units being distributed in Australia is the Elevah 40 Move, a self-propelled aluminium personal access lift with a 4m working height. It recently won the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Product of the Year award for low-level access.

United Forklift and Access Solutions is also offering the Elevah Move Stock Picker range in Australia for speedy and safe access to stored products. The line-up includes the Elevah 40 Move Stock Picker with a 4m working height, the Elevah 51 Move Stock Picker with 5.1m working height and the Elevah 65 Move Stock Picker with a 6.5m working height.

"The Elevah range offers the greatest lift heights in its class at a competitive and affordable rate,” says United Forklift and Access Solutions General Manager for Sales, Marketing and Distribution, Trent Osborne.

"Businesses large and small can now afford to upgrade their conventional ladders to boost worker productivity and safety," he says.

Elevah's ladder systems feature a range of advanced safety technology that include a side entrance with sensors to stop the cage from opening; dual operator presence device; anti-tilting device; electronic slope monitoring and overload monitoring.

Some advantages offered by Elevah's range of access equipment, according to United, include tight turning radius for work in confined spaces, as well as better safety and higher productivity compared to conventional systems on the market.
