VIDEO: Rhino Buckets releases unique adjustable system

The globally patented system allows Rhino's bucket to be fitted to any excavator make or model

Western Australia based heavy equipment attachment manufacturer, Rhino Buckets and Attachments, has unveiled its revolutionary Rhino Adjustable System, which the company claims will make its bucket the most versatile on the market.

According to Rhino Buckets and Attachments National Sales Manager, Clayton Schmidt, the key feature lies in the modifiable bush and spacer system that can easily be changed on-site.

"Whether it's a Cat, Case, or Kobelco, as long as they have the same size pins it will fit," he says.

"And if they don't, we can change the bosses out and put some different size pins in."

"The main advantage is that if you have two or three different excavators in your fleet, you can buy one tilting mud bucket, and it will suit all excavators that you have. Your workshop mechanic can change it in about 25 minutes to suit your machine, and you're up and running."

While there are similar systems on the market, Rhino Buckets claims its invention is far more effective in comparison.

"If you only have one pin centre moving, it takes away from the breakout force of your machine and can mess with the demographics of your bucket and how much you can dig and the dig force," Schmidt explains.

"Whereas with our system, both bosses and pin centres move so they create the same breakout force in effect."

The system was unveiled to the general public at the 2017 Diesel Dirt and Turf show and, according to Schmidt, it has received tremendous response from the public.

"The feedback's been really great and we look forward to bringing it out to everyone in the near future."

Rhino Buckets and Attachments is already receiving its first shipment of the Rhino Adjustable System in Melbourne and Perth, and will have the system available to customers nationwide soon.

"At the moment we only make the system to suit 12 tonne to 36 tonne buckets," Schmidt says.

"We are capable of doing up to 50 tonnes with it, but we'll just see how the market takes it on and if it does, then we'll be doing it in that size as well."
