Hailing from China, the Victory brand of heavy equipment is distributed in Australia by Safelift Solutions.
Its wheel loader range in particular is one of Safelift's best sellers, and with good reason.
"The standout features of Victory's wheel loaders are the Deutz-Wechai drivetrain with parts availability throughout Australia, the full sized cabins, air conditioning that work, and lift height," says Safelift Solutions Sales Manager, Luke Scott.
"Traditionally we sell all of the wheel loaders at the field days that we attend. At the most recent field days, we took three loaders and didn't bring them home, so there has been great success for us."
Victory's wheel loader range features five models, ranging from the 1.6-tonne VL160 to the 5-tonne VL500e.
The mid-range VL200e is the most popular model given its versatility with different jobs. It features an operating weight of 5.5 tonnes and an operating capacity of two tonnes.
"A range of operators and owners use the Victory VL200e - from construction and drainage workers; through to farmers who are working with hay, pushing up banks, feeding mixers and so on," Scott says.
"The VL200e will give you a lift height of 3.9m, so it is great for stacking hay in a shed, or loading high sided trucks or mixers."
The VL200e comes standard with a 0.9 cubic-metre 4-in-1 bucket with teeth and removable cutting edges; pallet forks; and a spare wheel.
It is powered by a 86hp Deutz-Wechai turbo diesel engine and 2-speed powershift transmission. An external oil cooler keeps the engine and machine running smoothly even in high operating temperatures.
The operator's cabin has been enlarged and widened specifically for the Australian market to ensure operators of all sizes can fit into and drive the loaders comfortably.
Controls are kept simple with little electronics and no LCD screen to keep costs down. A hydraulic quick hitch function operated from inside the cab allows drivers to remove and install attachments without having to leave the cabin.
The VL200e is priced at $24,900 including GST.
