Yanmar Compact Equipment (Yanmar CE) has introduced the ViO30-7 and ViO35-7 zero tail-swing mini excavators to the Asia, Pacific and Latin American markets.
The new models are a complete overhaul of the 3-ton class ViO30-6 and 3.5-ton class ViO35-6 mini excavators and offer significant improvements, Yanmar said.

Yanmar said the new models offer a seven per cent increase in maximum speed on flat terrain due to an improved travelling motor.
Additionally, the ViO35-7 features an enhanced hydraulic system that boosts slope climbing speed by up to 25 per cent and reduced cycle time of up to seven per cent, Yanmar added.
Swing torque has also been improved by 43 per cent for the ViO30-7 and 10 per cent for the ViO35-7, making swing operations more efficient.
The ViO30-7 features a width of 1550mm, a minimum front turning radius of 1630mm and an improved boom swing angle to facilitate digging, turning and loading operations in narrow work sites.
The ViO35-7 has a width of 1740mm and a minimum front turning radius of 1610mm, ensuring great stability.
The new machines feature a higher boom pivot position to ensure adequate ground clearance during loading and unloading. The ViO30-7’s overall length has also been shortened by 400mm to improve transportability.

An optional double-lock quick coupler allows for easy bucket or attachment changes from the operator's seat with a single switch.
A new 4.3-inch colour LCD monitor provides better visibility of operating status and alerts. An optional rear-view camera can be installed for enhanced rearward visibility.
The optional AUX1/2 allows configuration of up to five patterns of hydraulic flow rate for each attachment from the monitor screen.
