Japanese equipment manufacturer Yanmar has begun the local rollout of its newest range of wheel loaders, the Dash 7 line-up, starting with the V4-7.
With an operating weight of 3774kg and length of 4.4m, the Yanmar V4-7 has been designed to work in tight spaces.
A new Tier 4 40.9hp engine powers the model, which helps reduce engine emissions and fuel costs.
Available in a ROPS/FOPS cabin or canopy, the machine features a range of improvements, and especially when it comes to comfort.
The V4-7 now sports a larger working space with creature comforts including air conditioner and new defroster to suit the Australian climate.
A new fixed speed mode allows the operator to switch to full automatic mode if needed, increasing maximum torque in tough conditions and tight areas.
A 70 per cent larger floor entry and wider door opening allows easier entry and exit.
In the case of an emergency, operators can push an external kill switch installed on the loader's exterior to stop the engine if required.
The V4-7 features a new LCD display that provides the operator with live information and the option of GPS so operators can remotely monitor machine operation status and condition in real time.
Maintenance and servicing points are all located at ground level for easier servicing, while wider and larger opening hoods and filters improve accessibility to maintenance points.
The V4-7 and Yanmar's range of construction equipment is distributed in Australia by Tutt Bryant Equipment.
