Officially unveiled to a group of media personnel and dealers at a dealer summit held late last month in the Barossa Valley, the new SVL97-3 compact track loader is built for durability and high performance.
The SVL97-3 contains high-flow hydraulics and auto-shift to increase the machine’s versatility by allowing a wide variety of attachments.
There’s a fully sealed and pressurised one-piece cabin, preventing water and dust ingression while reducing noise levels.
The loader arm is designed to reach more than 3.26m, making it easy to dump into trucks and trailers, while the standard self-leveling function helps keep the bucket or fork in a horizonal position while in flight.
The SVL97-3 also has Kubota Shockless Ride (KSR) – a loader arm suspension system which helps to reduce spills on rough terrain.
Safety is enhanced with a seven-inch LCD touch screen monitor and integrated reverse camera.
“We’re really excited to launch the brand new U17-5 premium excavator alongside our current and proven U17-3,” said Kubota Australia National Sales Manager CE & PE Nathan Thomas.
“Thanks to the updated design and enhanced features, the operator will appreciate the added comfort and increase in performance of the new U17-5 Premium.”
Some upgrades in the cab include a new modern interior complete with a cup holder, mobile phone socket, USB charger and engine throttle dial.
“And the SVL97-3 is our most high-tech compact track loader to date, boasting a 17 per cent increase in productivity versus the existing SVL97-2 model, thanks to its impressive, improved features, enabling operators to work faster, longer and more efficiently,” Thomas said.
“The spacious interior includes a wide cab entrance and improved air conditioning, which is essential for those hot Australian summers. The standard air suspension seat also comes with heating, which makes work a little more comfortable on cold winter mornings.”
Meanwhile, Kubota Australia has introduced Topcon products to its dealerships for the first time as part of its relationship with Aptella.
Dealers will be able to offer products such as the MC-Mobile 2D and 3D systems which are compatible with some of its construction equipment range.
Stock of the SVL97-3 is expected to arrive in Australia from March 2025.
